
Maja Tomanič Vidovič specializes in the management of financial incentives and growth financing of small and medium-sized enterprises. During her studies, she started working as a reporter on national television station RTV Slovenia, where she remained for three years after finishing studying economics. She continued her career at the Ministry, with jurisdiction over development and promotion of entrepreneurship. She carried out various functions connected with the promotion of entrepreneurship, among others she was leading the sector for promotion of entrepreneurship. In 2002, she became the assistant of the director of the Slovene Enterprise Fund and since 2007 she has been its director. She has numerous domestic and foreign experiences in financial management of SMEs, financing of entrepreneurial sector, financial planning and formation of strategic measures for development acceleration of young innovative companies and companies with high growth potential. As a lecturer, she collaborates with various educational institutions and is a member of various expert groups for financial planning of support for the entrepreneurial sector in Slovenia as well as in Europe.
